-
The Curriculum Committee approved the minutes of the January 26, 2007
meeting.
-
Steve Bishop gave the Curriculum Committee an overview of the current
preparations for the ABET evaluations in the fall.
He explained the information that will be collected from the faculty
and the documents we'll need to prepare.
-
Professor Andy Singer and Rhiannon Clifton from the Technology Entrepreneur Center
discussed the series of courses that have been developed on entrepreneuring
and technology management within the College of Engineering.
Andy suggested that the Curriculum Committee should evaluate the courses
for inclusion in the technical electives list for our students.
He indicated his belief that these courses could handle a surge
in enrollment from ECE should they become popular choices.
After some discussion, the Committee indicated an interest in considering
such a proposal and asked Andy and Rhiannon to make a specific proposal
to the Curriculum Committee for further consideration.
-
The Committee adjourned at 11:52 AM.
