The Minutes of the December 8, 2008 meeting were approved.
-
The Committee began to review the ECE 398 proposal "Information Assurance
and Trust Seminar" by Roy Campbell and Masooda Bashir, but had questions
that required additional information from the proposers; the Chair
was tasked with asking for further information.
-
Erhan Kudeki moved that ECE students be allowed to CS 125 for
free elective credit; he argued that the restriction serves little
purpose now that the transition to ECE 190 in our curricula is
complete, that the current prohibition creates difficulties for
transfer students, and is inconsistent with our treatment of
introductory courses across the College.
The Committee passed this proposal.
-
Erhan Kudeki presented a list of ECE courses proposed for Technical
Elective credit.
The list includes ECE 280, 297, 307, 313, 328, 390, 391, 395,
